It’s probably not a big surpise that one of my favorite hobbies is thrift store shopping. There’s nothing like the thrill of finding something incredible – and the price is always right! A few weeks ago I had some good luck and found six vintage fashion magazines. This Cosmopolitan, from March of 1978, is the oldest of the bunch and it’s pretty fabulous.

The pages inside just get better. I’m totally in love with the simplicity of this Sears Ad – and I want those boots!
This editorial shot accompanies an article entitled “Boredom and How to Beat It”. Although it’s almost 30 years old, it feels incredibly modern and that glittering dress looks enticingly other-worldly.
Finally, another ad, this time for N’est-ce Pas? jeans. According to the ad they’re, “Flat on your tummy. Sleek on your thighs. And oh! What a pretty derrière they make.”
Ever wonder where today’s high-waisted trend comes from?
