I went to Peru as an exchange student a few years ago, and the family I lived with had a pug. They had had to special order her, because they’re impossible to find in Peru.
Anyway, the best part is that her name is Nata (technically the N should have a little tilde action ~ over the top, so it’s pronounced Nyata), which technically means “snub-nosed,” but which they translated for me as “Flat Face” in Spanish. Love it!
