Going Blonde

I’ve been dyeing my hair since the 8th grade, and at one point or another my naturally dark brown hair has been almost every color imaginable. It started innocently enough – just a reddish-auburn tint – but (after many long, teary battles with the parents) I moved into Manic Panic Territory – green, blue, bright red, purple, fuschia. Yeah, it faded quickly and got all over my clothes and sheets, but what teenage rocker can resist the allure of brightly colored tresses? Even Gwen Stefani was doing it – and she was the coolest of the cool for me (well, maybe a close second to Billy Corgan).

Yesterday I dyed my hair the most shocking color of all – my final frontier – blonde. I’ve been toying with the idea for months now and I finally took the plunge. So far the results are good: I’ve gotten lots of positive reactions from friends and significant others but I still haven’t adjusted to my own reflection.

Blonde!

I’ll let you know if I start having more fun.

It makes me super excited that one of your heroes is Billy Corgan, he’s amazing!

It’s funny because you couldn’t even comepare your hair styles to his as now he’s bald!

The blonde looks very natural but sophisticated and spunky!

I think you made the right decision!:)
