Employee Picks

We recently updated our ‘About Us’  page, so you could get to know all of the hard-working folks who select, name, photograph, package, and ship to you our extensive ModCloth wardrobe. So, now that you know us, we thought we would let you in on our favorite products: the ones we all “ooh” and “aahh” over when we open the box; the ones that makes us just a tad elated that we work here. Even the guys always manage to find something to love. Each week, we’ll feature four new employees and their current favorite items!

Lacey: My current favorite right now is the Etch a Sketch Dress, which I’ve loved since it first arrived, but I haven’t actually purchased one yet. I don’t usually go for floral-patterned things, but I love the little details: the solid yoke in the front, the tiny brassy buttons on the back of the neck. And I like the fact that it can be worn with jeans or tights, it’s hard to find a dress that works both ways!

Emily: My pick is the Steel City Boots. They have just the right amount of slouch, the tiniest hint of a heel, great button details, and are vegan-friendly.

Joseph: The Frog Turner is my favorite current item. It’s very durable and easy-to-grip…and it’s shaped like a FROG!!! Smoosh down on some scrambled eggs with this spatula for an awesome frog eye/mouth “goo” shooting effect…or don’t.

Deanna: Cashed in Booties–Secretly I’m Robin Hood. And the Plum Boho Belle Bag–Helen, who runs the company, is an awesome person who makes wonderful bags. The design is lovely, the leather is butter-soft, and it comes from a responsible company operating in an ethical manner.

What are your favorites?

Me too, Alexa! I’ve been thinking about it the last couple of days and your enthusiasm just convinced me to buy it for a date this weekend!
