Outfit of the Week: D.A.N.C.E.

Monthly, a few friends and I host a dance party in Pittsburgh called Cure for Restless Legs. It’s a great chance for us to play our favorite music and “cut a rug” with a bunch of cool people who want to do the same. I’m always on the lookout for the perfect ModCloth items to wear to the event but it must adhere to certain dance appropriate standards. First, since I’m running around all evening alternating between “DJing” and dancing, the outfit must be comfortable. For these same reason the shoes I wear must have at least a somewhat sensible heel. With the date of the next event approaching quite rapidly on the 14th, I thought it was time to get cracking on my outfit. I have to say I think I picked a pretty wearable (and danceable) look this week:

The Take It With Cream Two-Tone Dress is perfect for dancing the night away, while the Psychedelic Persian Tights and Victoria Clock Pin add a unique touch to that standard black and white. The Firehouse Clutch adds a bit more color to the ensemble, and while The Taking Names Boots dress down the look a bit, its heel is also the perfect height for dancing. Hope you enjoy and hope to see you on the dance floor!
