Behind the Scenes

We just finished shooting the second installment of our Holiday Lookbook and it was such a blast. I brought my own camera to the studio to give you a glimpse at the behind the scenes fun!

Dana waits patiently for a touch-up. Honestly, she doesn’t need make-up at all! I know, it’s not fair.

We use Polyvore to plan each outfit. On the day of the photoshoot, we print out each set and tape it on the wall. This keeps everyone super organized! (Tip: this is also a great way to stay organized while traveling.)

Of course, no ModCloth event is complete without a dog (or two, or three…).  Danielle’s jack russell terrier Rad was around to provide non-stop amusement. I learned two things about Rad: he REALLY likes balloons… almost as much as he likes Winston.

Don’t forget to check out the finished product right here, and let me know what you think!

About Susan

Susan's all-time favorite things include pugs, eating outdoors, and absurd mushroom-themed housewares. Her current obsessions include nail polish, wedges, and anything high-waisted. Her ultimate style icon is her grandma, and she's one of the founders of ModCloth!

Great Job Susan…wish you had Danielle laying on the floor with Rad on her…priceless

Rad lives up to that name. Looks like Winston disagrees though….

I actually looked at the second half earlier this morning and loved it! It was great.

Rad is too funny and Winston is just as precious as always.
