If you haven’t noticed yet, ModCloth has just launched a new version of the website with lots of great features!
Here are some highlights:
Reviews:
Wondering what other ModLovers thought of an item? Love a dress and want to tell the world? Now you can with the new ModCloth review feature! You’ll find the review area at the bottom of every product page. Simply log in to leave a review. You’ll rate the item, leave your thoughts, and even rate the sizing (i.e. fits true to size, a little large, etc). Plus, you can use other customer reviews to help you shop wisely! Reviews will be posted after they are approved by a moderator. Please read the posting instructions next to the review box before submitting a review.
Ratings:
When you leave a review you get to rate the item on a scale of 1-5 stars. You can also rate the customer service experience to help us make sure all customers are fully satisfied. We’ll pool all the ratings from reviews and show an average star rating with the item description. Finally, a way to give your dream dress the 5 out of 5 star rating it deserves!
Quick Look:
It’s gotten even easier to browse items at ModCloth! When you scroll over the picture of an item, the “Quick Look” box will appear. Simply click on “Quick Look,” and a pop-up box will appear featuring full-size pictures and all the vital item information. You can even add an item to your cart from the Quick Look pop-up box – all without ever leaving the page you’re on!
The “Love It” Button:
Similar to the “Like” feature on Facebook, the “Love It” button on ModCloth is a quick way to show your love for your favorite items! Simply log in, and click the “Love It” button next to an item you love – and you can love as many items as you like! We’ll keep track of how many times an item is loved so you can sort items by what is “Most Loved,” and you can see how many people loved each item by looking at the number next to the heart!
New Blog Features:
Check out the updated blogger bios in “Meet the Bloggers” and start showing us which blog posts you love by clicking “Love It!”

Yes! We’re always thinking about how we can make shopping with us as fun and simple as possible, and we plan to unveil many more fun features soon. But don’t forget about the great features we still have from our old site!
- The ModCloth Style Exchange lets you post pictures of your ModCloth outfits and see how others are wearing their favorite ModCloth items too!
- Because we mostly buy from small independent designers (which makes everything we sell all the more unique!) we sometimes have a limited number of items in stock. This means that from time to time we may sell out of an item that you love before you get the chance to buy it! If this is the case, just indicate the size you want and then click “Notify Me On Restock,” and we’ll send you an email as soon as your item is back in stock! Just make sure you click on the size you want first!

i had loved the old site for it’s gorgeous simplicity but i do believe i can learn to love the new one for all it has to offer as well.
The new site keeps freezing when I click on things. I’ve got to be honest, I prefer the old one!
I’m on the fence about the new site- I loved the old one for its easy access (for me, at least) and stylish, yet simplistic, layout. The new one may grow on me, though

I’m sure I’ll get used to it, like everyone else. I did really like how easy it was to get around the old site. I suppose change never hurt anyone. Much. haha. :]
The new site keeps freezing on me and shutting down my internet, it also deleted my old wishlist so I had to start fresh, I like the graphics but overall I preferred the old site.
I agree. The new site has some awesome new features which sure make shopping easier (and remembering what you were looking for i get oh-so-distracted everytime i get on the site) but i loved the layout of the old site. with the little winston in the corner and the lovely pastel hues!

I love the new site, I just wish that under “New Items”, the merchandise is listed/laid out starting with the most recent items- like it was on the old site.
Like others have said, I’m sure I’ll grow to love the new site, but I used to love the vintage inspired colors and the fun design of the old modcloth because it fit with the products you sell, and now modcloth just looks like every other generic online shopping site. Is there no way to keep the original feel of modcloth but add the amazing new features?

I like the new features (particularly reviews, ratings, and quick look), but the overall design and layout have been downgraded. The white background is stark. The logo, banners and navigation buttons across the top are generic and typical. The old site was cute, quirky, fun and inviting, and reflected the style of the items ModCloth sells. Some things were gained here, but a lot has been lost.
I think that it could be more colorful and cute, but the added features are great.
i like it, but i hate that, for the 20th time or so my wishlist has been deleted. no i have to start all over again. i wish the site had a bit more color though, the old one used to perk me up.

I love all the new features! Yet I have to agree with the other people who said that the old layout was a little more cheerful and unique… I miss the little Winston in the bottom corner.

I love the new site- great functionality and design- but I do miss the color and fun stuff (as others have said) that make this site so much different and better than other clothing sites. It may be a bit too mainstream for me- I do love it though. I just wish it combined the best of both- the functionality of this with the uniquness of the old site. Overall, though, I do believe it was a change for the better. Can’t wait to see what’s next! =)
I miss the old website, this one looks like every other site out there. I liked the way it made me focus, I don’t like the way there are so many products on the page, I also miss the vintage look and colorful old school look of it. Maybe it is better for me though, I need to save money! Overall Modcloth is my fave site, I’m sure I will still shop, just maybe not as much!
We loved the old website, too! But, as we grow, we constantly strive to make shopping more exciting and easier than before. The new features allow our customers to interact better with each other and provide more information for their shopping enjoyment. We hope you grow to love the new site as much as we do.
