Oh, you knew the day would come when I would choose Lady Gaga for a faux-pas. Of course, dressing uniquely is her whole shtick, so she can really get away with it because she does it every day. Right? Anyway, the first rule of wearing a jacket? Don’t forget to dress the rest of your body! When revamping this outfit, I chose to focus on the only real article of clothing she’s wearing – her white jacket. You guys already know that these days it’s okay to wear white after Labor Day, but you still see it banished from a lot of people’s wardrobes. The trick is pairing it with warm, earthy fall colors. I started with the relaxed Buena Vista Social Jacket and built off of that, adding the Into the Groove Skirt and The Grey-t Lace Cami. Playing off the colors in the skirt, I paired the outfit with the Hi-Fi Heels and the Perfect Palate Bag. The finishing touches? The Bronze Age Bangle and the Mata Hari Necklace.

I wouldn’t wear an outfit inspired by her in my everyday life, but I did consider being her for halloween.
You should have a way to put your sold items at the back. I didn’t find anything that was for sale in “Vintage”. If there was one left, it was lost in all the “sold” stuff. Why even have the “sold” stuff shown?

i agree about the full throttle heels, it looks a little “old” otherwise…love the purse though : )
haha I dont think i would channel lady gaga haha her music is pretty happening.. but her outfit when she excepted the award at the music video awards was rediculous hahaha that weird red crown thing hahaha it was litterally a one peice from her legs chest and face haha it was a hat a shirt and a skirt i call it a haskahershirt haha i dunno.. lol i love this tho.. “dont forget to dress the rest of your body” lol thats priceless soo funny louvv it.. haha -Jen
While I admire her guts and the fact that she’s not afraid to play with fashion…I’m not really inspired by it. From the birds nest she wore on her face to the Kermit the frog jacket she sported in an interview, I’m constantly wondering “WTF is she thinking?” Have fun, but don’t look like you were drunk when you dressed yourself.
