I agree. These choices seem really unoriginal and boring. There were a lot of better ones submitted.

I like Moon Dance cause it least there’s Blue Moon kind of thing but yeah I don’t like any of these… there was a girl who had an Alice and Wonderland name and a Narnia Name which were way cooler… and Somebody did a Bombay Sapphire name so totally agree with you Mary

yeah isn’t this supposed to be the “North Poll” Competition? I guess stay away from Holiday names because none of those have been picked for the first dress or this one…

yeah I have to agree with you guys. I’m confused as to why it’s called the north poll contest yet nothing yet has gone with a holiday theme. :/ ? makes no sense.

i was a little disappointed becuase i dont really think of this dress as a pleated dress and was disappointed to find two dresses like that….i love the dress though just not pleated names

You know what I think this is just a marketing ploy. They probably just used this contest to hype up the dresses but I bet the names submitted were names modcloth themselves came up with cause I like my names alright but I saw others that were so cool (check them out) who should have been put up here not digging the the non-holiday names oh well…

I have to agree with some… I’m honestly not happy with these choices either. No offense to anyone, I just really never saw this dress as the main focus being “pleats”

Sorry to hear you’re disappointed in the names, as I selected the finalists for this one.

Zoe, these were names submitted by actual customers that I personally enjoyed.

As for the holiday theme, it was never said that the names had to be holiday nor is that the point of the contest. Sorry for the confusion. Best of luck with naming the remaining items!!

I agree with most of the comments, these are very boring names..

Just want to let everyone know that I thought it was a marketing ploy at first too on the first day and i wasn’t even going to submit names for the second day, but thought “what the heck” and now one of mine was chosen. I guess you just have to keep trying and understand that you can’t please everyoe, but there were some really cute names, i think you all did a great job, and thanks for voting for mine even if you dont really like it! haha.

and again i cant see the choices.

I don’t really like the choices…If this dress is for the holidays I would suggest something like Ice Crystal Blue Bell…b/c its short like a bell, and it is a shade of blue satin I would associate with water when you see the sky reflected on the ocean. Good Luck to the lucky few that received the chance to get their name voted on!

I don’t even care if this is a marketing ploy. I don’t think Mod cloth would do that. I think this a sweet contest…even if I haven’t won yet. It’s fun to come up with names and to read other people’s names. I love modcloth and I love all the contests!
