Spring is by far my favorite season. Something about fair weather after months of snow brings out a girl’s wild side, whether she’s shopping, hosting an impromptu party or meeting new people. What better time to try out an outfit that’s new and a little risky? In order to combine the spirit of urban adventure with spring’s bright colors, I paired The Rooftop Party Skirt in Midnight with the Fields of Gold Blouse. The Postmodern Peep Toes were the next logical step since they are A) my new favorite shoes and B) appropriately audacious. The Rose Dawson Tights create an interesting pattern contrast to the skirt (and also hide the fact that my fair skin is still very much stuck in winter) and the Beauty and the Belt cinches the silhouette while pulling in the purple of the heels and the Honeysuckle Headband. Though the sun is out, the weather is fairly breezy in Pittsburgh, so I plan to keep the The Renegade Bomber on hand to prevent a whisper of winter from ruining my day. I can’t wait to wear this outfit to the first Spring soiree, be it on a rooftop or within the safe confines of a friend’s house!
