fav find

Who: Melanie Manville, ModCloth devotee, elementary school teacher, and grad student

What: clear apple necklace–tag said “made in Sweden”

Where: Houston, Texas-the store front just says “Resale, Consignment, & Gifts.” Once inside I saw a cardboard sign that read “Ximena’s Resale Shop”

How Much: 8 bucks!

When I use it: I wear it with everything–it easily transforms from funky off-center grad student to responsible, well-educated teacher

Shopping Tips: The store where I got this was strange–literally filled floor to ceiling with items. While I was there a couple of little girls were stringing up toys to be hung from the ceiling. Even if a place is crazy-stuffed, just keep your eyes open. This necklace caught my eye as I was checking out. I also got two amazing retro blood orange lamps for $15!

Very cute. An apple necklace for a teacher. It’s like it was made for her!
