I spy with my little eye… something fabulous!
At 1 p.m. PST on every third Thursday of the month, we will tweet a fuzzy, abstract or distorted photo of one of our products. The first, fifth, and tenth people to tweet the correct name of the product to @ModCloth with the hashtag #ISpy3rdThursday will each win $25 gift certificates!
Rules to remember: First, you have to follow us on Twitter to play! Each person is eligible to win one “I Spy Thursday” every 30 days. Participants are allowed to tweet multiple times. The @ replies will be counted and the winner will be picked in real time according to the order that they appear on ModCloth’s official Twitter screen to deter deleting of tweets. A screenshot of our Twitter screen at the moment we pick the winner is available on request. Entries suspected of coming from spam or fake accounts will not be considered for selection.

Yes, you reply @modcloth with the correct name of the product. You need to follow @modcloth, but @modcloth does not need to be following you.

I’m not sure, so where do we post the answers for the contest tomorrow on twitter? Or under the modcloth picture of where the dog is? It just says Tweet back and I don’t understand to where?

I just love Modcloth. This contest is awesome and the fact that they understand how to integrate social media into their brand strategy makes me love them even more!
I’m confused- today’s definitely looks like the Don’t Play Games With My Heart Plush, but if it is, then it would have to be upside-down. I didn’t think that was a possibility and as I was browsing I passed that option by because I didn’t think it was allowed to be upside-down. A bit more clarity in the rules, please…..For fairness…..
Also, do we reply to the Twitpic or to your Twitter feed???? VERY unclear….

I have been playing for a while now and noticed that people have started deleting their answers in order to shift to the 5th spot. At what time do you “stop the clock”, so to speak? It’s disappointing to see that you are the original #5 and then it changes.
Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention! We often pick the winner 15-20 minutes after the hour. But we will make sure to do it much sooner. :)
