ModCloth recently teamed up with students and faculty from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh’s Fashion and Retail Management program to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. A fundraiser fashion show organized by the Art Institute and featuring ModCloth clothes will be held July 18th, and on July 24th, 10% of ModCloth sales will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (simply enter coupon code Cure 10 at checkout)!
In anticipation of the fashion show, we held a contest for Art Institute Fashion students to style an outfit with a ‘First Day of School’ theme. We’ve narrowed the choices down to two, but now we need your help picking the best! The winning ensemble will be featured in the show and on the ModCloth homepage July 24th!
Using the poll on the left, vote for the outfit you think is runway-ready. Will it be NYC urban chic, or do you prefer the French-inspired Parisian Scholar look? Vote now for your favorite!
Styled by Kari Kreke, this on-trend ensemble features the Thriller Jacket, Santa Clara Scarf, Dapperly Dietrich Satchel, Modern Wayfarers, Hoot-notism Ring, New Black Skinnies, My Fair Locket, Gold Rush Boots, Red Vine Bracelet and Cross Street Tee in Navy Ave. “Who said the first day of school had to be dull and boring?” Kari wonders, and created a look exciting enough for the Big Apple!
Styled by Elisa Llera, this lovely outfit features the Aster Beret, Creme Brulee Blouse, Lovely Lumberjack Romper, Ziggy Vest, Alexander Leg Warmers, Word Passport Boots, and the Paris, Je t’Aime Necklace. Elisa suggests we fall back into the “collegiate swing of things” with this studious francophile look!
Cast your vote now, and maybe your favorite will be taking a trip down the runway!
