A Look to Knock Your Socks Off

By ModCloth Writing Team Intern, Amy Cockcroft:

This fashionista is flaunting a classic and comfortable summertime look. The flower print dress is very cute, but it’s her accessories that really set her apart. Her darling belt, whimsical socks, and enchanting wedges make this outfit stand out amongst other sunny styles. The knee high socks are a tough one to pull off, but she does it dexterously and looks delightful as a result. Her belt shows off her figure, and the thin necklace doesn’t detract from the mod aesthetic. It’s a simple look, but it’s pulled together beautifully and manages to look totally distinctive. Try for an equally alluring style that’ll knock some socks off with the Merengue Dress, Gold Leaf Belt, Billy the Crew Sock, and Step Right Up Wedges in Mocha.

About Richard

Richard finds style inspiration in an assortment of historical figures, musicians, and movie characters, including Doc Holliday, Tracy Pew, Han Solo, and El Topo. When not tapping at the computer keyboard for ModCloth, Richard spends his time playing music and dreaming of composing the perfect soundtrack to an epic gothic western film set on a distant, dusty planet, where the cowboys ride rocket-powered motorcycles instead of horses.

Love the look. I’d call it indie chic, with an ever so slightly parisian air. Fabulous!

This is adorable! She looks like a lighter-haired Zooey Deschanel in this pic!
