ModYearbook's: "Best Hair"

Thanks to everyone who participated in the ModYearbook contest! We had a lot of awesome submissions, and judging was very tight.  Based on the number of submissions (106 total!) we decided to choose one to be featured each day this week based on five different “high school” superlatives that fit the theme of our contest. Each winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to ModCloth.com, along with bragging rights and a place on our ModLife blog featuring their submission!

Our second winner is Stefanie, whose classic 80s-styled bangs and hair take place in our ModYearbook as Best Hair! The caption on her photo submission reads “Acting innocent on the Long Island Railroad.” Gimme head with hair, long beautiful hair… Shining gleaming, streaming, flaxen, waxen...

Check back each day this week to see the rest of our winners, whose line-up includes:

Wednesday: Most Glamorous

Thursday: Best Overall Pre-High School

Friday: Best Dressed

Thanks to everyone who participated! In the era of the digital camera, remember to print out your photos and keep them in a safe place…

I thank you, my long-ago hairdresser thanks you, and the ozone layer thanks us both for all the nice hairspray holes.
