2 loves
sorry, but I’m not really digging any of these choices :/
whoever said flappers delight, you get my vote. that was the best name up there yesterday!
I think Speakeasy to Me dress is a great name Sonia! you didn’t have to much competition though…
I thought all the titles for these dresses were supposed to be Holiday/Winter related. None, so far, have been! I’m a bit disappointed…
Boring again.., sorry.. DD:
sadly, not loving any of these names…
I think the names Modcloth has chosen for this contest aren’t that great. None of them rock my boat. :(
Well, I don’t know. Not sure yet. But this is convincing…
Pff, those names are boring! Sorry to the folks who came up with them… they just don’t tickle my fancy. C’mon, there were hundreds of suggestions ModCloth!
these names are not the greatest…..i mean there were waaaay better ones…*cough* mine *cough*
I really like that Speakeasy to Me name! The other ones… not so great. Good job, Sonia!
I was SO rooting for the names that referenced Roxie Hart… I LOVE this dress because it reminds me so much of the Chicago Dress (which I had to return due to the fit.) It shows depth when you stick to a theme…. *sigh* the only thing that comes somewhat close here is “Perfect Alibi”
I think the choices are clever! Speakeasy to Me is my favorite.
I chose “Black Friday Dress”. Pretty clever out of these choices. I’m a little disappointed that “Suf-fringe-ette” (or however u spell it) isn’t provided as a choice.
I’m ready 4 tomorrow!!!!
MODCLOTH:I think it would be good if you chose a few more names for each of the items so we have more to pick from. maybe this will help with the people who aren’t ‘diggin’ any of the names.
I sorta agree there were so many great names…I’m disapointed not more of them made it in.
Seriously – Flappers Delight was the best name ever. I felt like I was silly for entering after I saw that – then – BAM – not even up there. Well done whoever you are – mad props.
I’m not really pleased with any of these choices, since they seem rather typical and bland, since I saw so many other choices that were more clever =/ No offense to those who submitted these, but…
flappers delight is lame. There were way more clever names out there. i like speakeasy to me. that is waaaaay more clever than flappers delight….sorry.
Hi, All!
Flapper’s Delight was a great name, but we already have a Flapper’s Delight Headscarf on the site!

Take care, and thanks for your feedback! _Molly @ ModCloth
This is such a cute dress, and I really love Speakeasy to Me name option, its perfect!
thanks to everyone who voted for me! :)
so i see that there are glasses that are new to buy today called “15 minutes of fame glasses” and its funny because the first day of the contest, my friend submitted this name for the first dress but it was “15 minutes of flame dress in Warhol”. i guess it wasnt good enough to be picked to be up on the selected choices, but it was good enough to rip off and use anyhow… haha
Emilia, I noticed the “15 minutes of flame” entry and thought it was bloody brilliant. It’s unfortunate that something so similar is being used for a new item. (And worse, missing the cleverness!) Maybe your friend should email M.C. They are so friendly, I bet something could be worked out.
Hi, Emilia & Fawn,
Thanks so much for your feedback. We really appreciate it!
I want to let you know that we in no way copied an idea that was submitted in the Name It and Win It contest! I’m so sorry that you had this fear! We take great pride in our names and our product descriptions, and would never knowingly repeat a contest name. That is not what we are about at ModCloth.
I looked into this situation, and found that, actually, the “15 Minutes of Fame Glasses” were named and described in our system on October 8, 2009. Emilia, the fact that those glasses launched when your friend submitted a similar name was pure coincidence.
I hope this helps ease your minds. If you have any additional questions about our writing and naming procedures, please feel free to email me directly at molly.prosser@modcloth.com.
Thanks so much for your feedback,

ps. Just a final note – to allow for a myriad of names, we’re not just choosing holiday-themed suggestions!
Sweet!
if i hadn’t been away from the computer all weekend, i would’ve voted for speakeasy to me. thats such a good name!!
