Zachary Quinto!
We know voting for ModMan of the Year was not an easy task; after all, 2009 was full of talented, hilarious, quirky, good-looking, big-hearted, paradigm-shifting men. But when it came down to the nitty gritty, 19% of you voted for Zachary Quinto to be our ModMan of 2009! Since graduating from Carnegie Mellon University in 1999, Quinto, a Pittsburgh native (what what), has won our hearts and minds with roles such as Sylar on NBC’s global hit series, Heroes (2006-present) and as the iconic Spock in this year’s box office hit film, Star Trek. He recently did an interview with his rescue dog, Noah, to promote pet rescue at the annual Hollywood’s Least Wanted event. With his new production company, Before the Door Pictures, underway, and as the only person in history to appear on the cover of Entertainment Weekly two weeks in a row, we can’t wait to see what our ModMan of 2009 does next.

Zach cleans up real good, and his style cannot be beat. But he’s even more lovable when he’s tooling around with his dog in Adorable Geek mode: jeans, Converse sneakers, various stripey or off-beat printed shirts layered with nerdy cardigans and glasses, and topped off with one of his various hats or toques.
