Do you see what I see? Bloomers! I must admit, I never would have thought to wear silky black, ivory lace-adorned bloomers as daily wear, but this look works and this lady is workin’ it! One must use caution when donning undergarments as outer-garments – the danger of looking like you inadvertently forgot to finish dressing is high. However, I think the above outfit elegantly elucidates how to pull off this bold style statement. While the bloomers are sweet and oh-so-sexy, they’re worn over opaque black tights for classy coverage, then paired up with a slightly slouchy grey tee and scarf, tailored black blazer, noir leg warmers, brilliant booties, and fingerless gloves, which provide a little extra edginess to the ensemble.
If you’re bold enough to bring your boudoir bloomers outside the bedroom, take a cue from this gorgeous gal and make sure you slip a layer underneath to keep the look ladylike, adding your own loose-fitting tee, a chic topper like the Glass Ceiling Blazer, and beautiful booties like the Forget Me Knot Heels for a cute kick.

I love them! I have a pair of shorts from the past summer that I purchased and were made to look like bloomers. So cute!
Woah! What a cool idea. Off to go find me some bloomers….
super cute! Who would have thought?!
Hi Natalie, THANK YOU SO much for featuring me. I really feel honored!
Would you mind adding the “THE” in front of the blog address? I want to make sure people get directed to the correct address.

Thank you!!
this takes true style vision! I would’ve never come up with this on my own…
She looks cute… but do you think this would work on someone with an ass? I’d be concerned that it might look like I was wearing a diaper.
i love this idea!!!!!
Really loving this look. It’s tough, and cute, and chic all rolled up into one outfit.
This outfit is so edgy! I’ve been debating on whether to buy a pair of these, but now I’m convinced.
oh my god! I just love it, love it , love it. So daring and chic.
The link to the blog where the photo is from isn’t working. :(
I adore this look, though. Thank you for posting about this.
Sorry about that, Katie! I inadvertently left out the “the”! It should work now :)
