Little Miss Sunshine

Winter is still in full swing in Pittsburgh, and now that the holiday lights have been unstrung and the bright decorations taken down, these dark, dreary days can make me feel very drab indeed. So when I saw what this young woman has done – that is, raid her wardrobe for garments that will battle the gloomy weather – I couldn’t help but smile! In addition to the gorgeous jewel tone garments she’s pieced together, she demonstrates creative layering by tucking a long, jewel-toned tunic into a skirt with a bright, happy print! She also manages to rock pop-tastic peep toes by wearing them with a pair of warm socks.

Does your wardrobe need a mood boost?  Try layering the I Wear Skirts Skirt over the Snap, Crinkle, and Pop Dress. Add even more sunshine-y style with the Highlight-her Necklace, the Bag to the Future bag, and the Life on the Wedge in Mustard.

Adorable! I love how we get a glimpse of the tunic underneath the skirt, aaand I love the idea of layering a skirt over a dress like that. Super cute creativity!
