Fun-A-Day and Tiny Sweaters!

Another January has come and gone, and another Fun-A-Day project is completed! Here in Pittsburgh, Fun-A-Day is in its third season, a success with 20+ contributors! At the end of last year, I wrote a blog post to spread the word and hopefully garner some last-minute buzz for all participating cities (and prospective cities) about this project. The idea is to work on a fun and creative project each day in the month of January, and show off your results in February!

I encourage you to take a gander inside the screen printing studio AIR that hosted the 2010 Fun-A-Day finale in Pittsburgh.

Check out the pictures of some of my favorite pieces, including the one, the only, the amazing “Tiny Sweaters”!

What are those, sweaters for ants? Not quite, but together they are one the coolest mini art projects I’ve come across in a while!

What do you think of the final outcome? Did you Fun-A-Day? Will you plan to Fun-A-Day next year?

I’d like to propose a new adage: “An Outfit A Day” keeps the doctor away! The outfits and the sweaters were my favorites at the Fun-A-Day event, and I plan on doing a music fun-a-day project. Thanks for sharing your talent with the world wide web and Pittsburgh.

That tiny sweaters display totally inspired me to create a similar mural in my room. I want to right now. I love sweaters, and such a mural would be a fitting homage to the most delightful article of clothing on earth :)
