“You play ball like a girl!” That was the ultimate insult in The Sandlot. But what’s wrong with being a girl? Nothing! As a matter of fact, it’s pretty awesome. So what better way to celebrate our femininity than by wearing a frock? Alicia, our Dynamic Content Coordinator, and I decided to take the A Little Bit Alt Country Dress and style it two ways — a little bit country and a little bit rock ‘n’ roll!
I took the dress down a cute country road by adding a peachy cardi and wide brown belt. Then I slipped on purple tights for a pop of color, picked up a sassy tasseled bag, and slid into cognac-colored boots with studded ankle straps that toughen the outfit up.
Alicia opted to put a sexy-in-the-city spin on her fun frock by layering a sleek, military-inspired black leather jacket on top and sassy scarlet tights underneath. She finished off the look with a rocker girl boot and fringe-tastic bag.
Of course, you don’t need to wear a dress to be ladylike, but sometimes frocks just make a gal feel so fabulous! Do you wear dresses every day of the week, or are jeans and a tee your go-to garments?
