Forget skirts, ditch your shorts, toss out your pants, and lose those leggings! There’s a new bottom in town. I’m wearing a pair of skants (sweaters as pants) right now, and let me tell you – they’re the best thing since sliced bread, but even better.
The minute we at ModCloth spied skants, we knew they were the next big thing – they were just so comfortable and cute. The drape of their drop crotch and their mind-blowing versatility had us bowled over like 10 pins in the lane of Walter Ray Williams. Yowzas! We couldn’t wait to share our latest find with you, so we did a skants photoshoot!
Our Product Stylist Brittney (above) is sporting one heck of a hot uni-skants. Britney loved her skants. “It’s fiercely functional. I like the versatility – I can wear it so many different ways!” she exclaimed.
Danielle, our Lead Photographer, wore a practical, yet pretty horse-print skants that are perfect for class or a raucous hoedown. “It’s so easy to dance in. Not only is it comfortable, but it also has a vent – it cools you down when you’re tearing up the dancefloor.” Cool you down, it may, Danielle, but it won’t stop your skants from looking super hot!
Last, Product Stylist Michelle wore a happy hour skants ensemble that’s hype-worthy and happening! The button details of her suavely monochrome skants add a polished look to her bright top, sassy shoes, and gemstone-studded clutch. Michelle was so impressed with her skants that all she could say was, “These skants are ‘trill.’ That’s short for ‘truth’ and ‘for real.’”
These gals aren’t the only people loving skants around the office. It’s been a constant subject over lunch, and everyone is trying to nab skants from the site before the sell out. Just today, I saw 35– maybe more – coworkers sporting superb-looking skants. “I love my skants!” cried Nicole, a ModStylist, who is currently wearing a pair of 80s vintage, sequined skants. “I’m recommending skants to all the customers for everything – vacations, dates, weddings, you name it! Viva los skants!”
What do you think, reader? Are you as excited about skants as we are?
