There’s No Pattern Like Gingham

Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore. This season, Dorothy Gale‘s signature gingham print has gone from country bumpkin to retro cool, and doesn’t this style blogger know it. Another Day to Dress Up‘s thrifted gingham blazer and offbeat accessories make her outfit both quirky and classic, and we applaud her breathing new life into the much-feared mom jean by hacking the legs off to create cute paperbag waist shorts. That’s a DIY project we won’t need any magic to pull off!

About Jenn

Jenn's first career aspiration was to be a dinosaur. After her kindergarten teacher informed her that couldn't happen, she decided she would be the next best thing: a writer. Aside from writing, Jenn loves chambray shirts, all cacti, and good typography.

I did the same thing to my mom’s mom shorts! They were the greatest colors so I just sinched them with a waist belt, cufferd the pant legs and voila, cute shorts!
