After dog sitting for the past week, this outfit looks mighty appealing to me! This resident of Williamsburg, New York’s style could easily go for miles. In addition to being the perfect size to carry her canine, or any additional doggie bags for an impromptu clean-up, her stark satchel gives a dose of contrast to both the feminine floral print of her dress, and her white perforated flats. I can imagine her footwear was an excellent choice for a walk with her wee buddy, offering both style and ventilation!

My dog-walking wardrobe isn’t nearly so cute…runners, backpack, leggings, hat, and a hoodie with pockets so I can keep treats handy.
A dress like this would be completely impractical. Not only would I not be able to run about with my two dogs, but it would be torn to shreds by all the other boisterous pups at the local dog park!
as impractical as walking a dog in a pocketless summer dress might seem, she does manage to do it in style. i’ve seen quite a few chics in the city donning dresses while walking their dogs and they manage to make it look very chic. (though it does help that their dogs are always really well behaved.)
