Who: Amanda of The Upside of Wonder
What: Blue sleeveless floral dress
Where: Salvation Army in Austin, TX
How Much: $3.50
When I Use It: As often as possible! The fact that it’s lightweight and sleeveless is perfect right now. I’ve always said, you don’t know hot until you’ve spent a summer in Texas.
Shopping Tips: Always keep an open mind when going to thrift stores. When I was younger, I would go to thrift stores and think “All of this stuff is ugly, it’s all too big or too long or missing buttons.” Now I know that all of that stuff can be fixed in minutes with a needle and thread. I can’t tell you how many things I’ve revamped with my sewing machine. Not to mention, it gives you the chance to personalize your own clothing! What could be better?
