Hi, everyone!
It’s only August, and it’s been an amazing year already. I’d like to share some of the highlights with you, and thank you for being a part of ModCloth’s success! Not only have we taken on some fabulous new brands like Darling and Emily and Fin, added some new faces to our team, hit record high numbers on our Name It and Win It contest, and made tons of new Facebook and Twitter friends, but we’ve also opened another office on the West Coast!
A few months ago, we found a home for our second ModCloth location in the SOMA district of San Francisco. Winston, Eric, and I love the moody weather, delicious food, and warm people here in SF, and we get to travel back to the Pittsburgh office enough that we don’t get too homesick! We’ve got the best of both worlds now, being in the Steel City and the Bay Area! And, we’re really excited to expand ModCloth westward so we can better serve you! It makes us happy knowing that now, we’ll be closer to our designers, so we can bring the cute looks you love to the site quicker.
To celebrate our new space, we recently hosted a “Behind the Scenes” party at Terra, and invited some of our new San Francisco friends to attend. I’m not sure what I enjoyed more — the amazing turn-out, the ice cream sundae bar, or the Fliptography booth (check out Calivintage and Late Afternoon‘s fun flipbooks)!
