Escape Art: Lissy Elle’s “Get Back in Your Book”

We all know how hard it can be to pull ourselves away from an engrossing book, so it makes sense that trying to escape from one is all the harder! Canadian photographer Lissy Elle captures the supposed runaway attempts of some of our favorite literary characters in a Flickr photo series called “Get Back in Your Book.”

If you could meet any book character in real life, who would it be? Let us know!

About Jenn

Jenn's first career aspiration was to be a dinosaur. After her kindergarten teacher informed her that couldn't happen, she decided she would be the next best thing: a writer. Aside from writing, Jenn loves chambray shirts, all cacti, and good typography.

The Beauty one is my favorite, the dress looks pretty too. The photos are great and really cool looking, they keep me interested and want more. I would live to meet Alice from Wonderland.
