Who: Bea of A plus B in the Sea
What: Navy Blue Opera Coat
Where: Tagaytay Thrift Shop, Philippines
How Much: Php 100 or $2
When I Use it: I bust it out during the rainy season (there are only 2 seasons over here) because it is light and very water repellent!
Shopping Tips: Thrifting is cheap. That can be both the greatest and worst thing about it. It is too easy to blow wads of money on things you may not even need. I’ve really learned to exercise discipline over the years by only buying things I love and will use for a long time. Sometimes that means ending a thrifting trip empty-handed but that’s better than wasting money. I usually venture with a specific item in mind so my search is more focused!
