Who: Rachel of Mousevox Vintage

What: Vintage leotard

Where: Goodwill in Champaign, IL

How Much: $1

When I Use It: “This piece has become a staple in my wardrobe! It’s incredibly versatile and pairs perfectly with skirts, high-waisted trousers, and shorts alike. It’s my go-to garment when I need something sleek and simple to pair with statement pieces or with bolder prints that stand out on their own. Plus, I like the way it accentuates my figure, making me feel quite confident when I wear it!”

Shopping Tips: “Go often and not on days when major sales are happening, as the racks will be more picked over. Don’t be discouraged if you can’t find exactly what you might think you need. Look at everything and bear in mind that many pieces can be altered to fit a more modern look simply by taking a few inches off of the hem, shortening/removing sleeves, removing linebacker-esque shoulder pads or even by adding your own trimmings. Think creatively and, most importantly, have fun!”

    Dear Modcloth.
Please make/buy more kitten heels. I’m too tall to wear 5 inch heels. Even 3 is stretching it for me. I like <2 in., please.
    Thank you,
    Kate. (5'8)
