I really love leather purses and boots, but is it okay to mix different colors of leather? Say chocolate brown leather with black or cognac leather?

    • Nicole (ModStylist) 11/22/2010 at 1:53 pm #

Hi Jordana! Sure, you can wear black tights with black peep toe shoes! Try the Sensational Seams Tights http://bit.ly/cM8DRa with the Sparks in the Dark Wedge http://bit.ly/ciONQc! Hope this helps!

Hey I fell in love with the mad catter cardigan. The thing is I live in Canada so we have really cold winters and layering is so important. Is there a shirt you suggest to wear underneath this amazing cardigan? I am not afraid to play with different textures but shopping online can hard to judge and be difficult.

    • Amy (ModStylist) 11/19/2010 at 6:04 pm #

Hi! Thanks for your question! We love the Mad Catter Cardigan too! Stay cozy while wearing it by adding the comfy Chocolate Shavings Top http://bit.ly/aKLqA5. If you prefer grey over brown, try layering the Either Ore Tunic http://bit.ly/9ARXzr. Both will keep you looking warm and stylish! Do you carry any dress from the “roaring 20′s” style?

    • Nicole (ModStylist) 11/22/2010 at 2:36 pm #

Hi Cherri! Thanks for posting your question! We have a ton of items that are reminiscent of fashion from the 20′s. Look for drop waist dresses, long gloves, fringe, lace, and art deco inspired jewelry. Here is a style board with specifics: http://www.polyvore.com/style_inspiration_1920s/set?id=25189916. Hope this helps to inspire! :)

Hi there! Some time ago I bought the Discovery Flannel Skirt, and I loved it. But I’m having problems to match it with tops. And since I’m living on Canada for a while, I need something warm too. But the skirt has “volume” so it’s kinda hard to fit with cardigans or long sweaters that I have.
I love this skirt so much, help? :c

I was on the lookout for a cute bag for college, I found one that’s within my price range and is adorable….but I’m in a bit of a difficult situation- i can’t decide whether to choose the red one or the dark brown. I love winter, but winter clothes always makes more fat, so I’ve been using long shirts with leggings, and it looks great, do you think it’s a good combination?

    • Chelsey (ModStylist) 11/22/2010 at 3:15 pm #

Hi there! This combination works great for the winter months! The most important thing is that you are comfortable and feel good about yourself! Leggings with a comfy, long cardi or crisp, clean button-up tunic is a great way to stay in style all winter long!

    • Nicole (ModStylist) 11/26/2010 at 1:36 pm #

what goes well with light grey tights ?

    • Amy (ModStylist) 11/26/2010 at 1:20 pm #

Hi Elle! You can truly match anything to light grey tights! We fancy them with lilac-hued frocks like the Purple Nail Polish Dress http://bit.ly/hKB22h. Light grey and denim together are also delightful! Try the Jean-ius of Love Romper http://bit.ly/fpR9H9 with your stockings and add some booties http://bit.ly/eqI262 for a chic casual look!
