Meet the ModDog: Rad

ModCloth Jack Russell

Name: Rad
Age: 5
Breed: Jack Russell Terrier

Rad was one of the first dogs I met at the ModCloth office. I was immediately charmed by his tiny stature, lovable mug, and absolute loyalty to photographer Danielle. Whether Danielle is in the studio shooting product, or out and about snapping stylebook photos, Rad is always by her side, excited and eager to be a part of the action.

When Rad was just eight weeks old, Danielle adopted him up from a breeder in West Virginia. It was love at first sight, she said. “The breeder picked up Rad, pointed to his forehead, and said, ‘We call this one Bud ’cause he has a can opener on his forehead,’” Danielle said. “That’s when I knew I had to have him.”

Want more Rad? In this fun video, Rad is totally in the zone, doing what he does best (besides chasing a soccer ball and snackin’ on french fries).

Very adorable indeed :) Not to be debbie downer, but breeders should usually be the last stop on the pet search.. Don’t forget about the six to eight million homeless cats and dogs that enter shelters in america each year!
