Take a Hike in Brown Lace-Up Wedge Booties

Clockwise from top left: The 4 Hundred Beats, Stolen From Grandma, Dirty Hair Halo, and New Fashion Disorder.

Your new, versatile best friend? Brown, lace-up wedge booties! Their basic hue will go with all the colors in your closet, so, like these bloggers, you can mix them up with stone-washed skinnies or jet black leggings. This versatile style can be dressed up or down, but one thing that remains the same is their practical appeal. Yes, they may be sky high, but they’ll keep your tootsies warm and out of the snow (although not recommended for Antarctica).

Take your pick from these ModCloth booties to start rocking the style:

I am definitely on the market for this trend. Not so sure about hiking, but they’re definitely perfect to chase city pavements in!
