All About the Teeth & Tongue

If you still haven’t rubbed all that Monday morning sleepiness from your eyes, then Teeth & Tongue‘s kaleidoscopic, color-blasted music video should do the trick. In “Sad Sun,” front woman Jess Cornelius’ defiant voice echoes across hypnotic, slightly sinister melodies, but a quick spin through the Aussie band’s MySpace playlist shows that this Melbourne songstress can do soft, low, and pared down just as well. Teeth & Tongue’s new album is slated to drop in April.

What songs did you use to jump start your day?

About Jenn

Jenn's first career aspiration was to be a dinosaur. After her kindergarten teacher informed her that couldn't happen, she decided she would be the next best thing: a writer. Aside from writing, Jenn loves chambray shirts, all cacti, and good typography.

Today it was “Mousekedances and Other Mouseketeer Favorites” by the “Mickey Mouse Club”. (My 2 year old picked it out!) When I pick it out, it is any of my 1980s 45′s I got when the roller skating rink I used to go to as a kid closed down & had a garage sale!!
