Presenting a precious puppy, gifting a heartfelt, handmade craft, shipping a shiny, new pair of Irregular Choice shoes—these are all wonderful ways to express your feelings to a special someone. But what’s the most touching or creative way YOU can think of to demonstrate your dearest devotion to a significant person in your life? That’s what we hope you’ll share with us—and the ModCommunity—by submitting a photo of it in our new Capture the Love Contest. And to show some love in return, we’re giving away a $100 gift certificate to two people whose entries really pluck at the heartstrings!
HOW TO ENTER:
- Visit the ModCloth Facebook page, and click into the “Photo Contest” tab, where you’ll find detailed instructions on how and where to submit your photo.
- Upload a picture that is your photographic interpretation of our provided caption, “I found the perfect way to say, ‘I love you.’”
- Get your friends and family to ‘vote’ for your photo by leaving a comment under your image!
WHAT TO REMEMBER:
- Two people will win a $100 ModCloth gift certificate! One winner will be chosen by the highest number of votes, the second will be chosen by us.
- All entries must be received by Feb. 15, 2011 at 1 p.m. EST.
- Friends and family may comment on your photo as much as they’d like, but only the first comment will be counted as a vote.
- People may vote for more than one photo.
On February 15, we will announce the names of our wonderful winners on our Facebook page at 3 p.m. EST. While you can upload multiple photos to our contest, we recommend really focusing on one that takes the cake! So hurry up and pull out your 35mm, your Diana, or your camera phone with the fancy-schmancy filters, and get to work — the sooner you enter, the more time your entry has to snag votes. And if you need some props, don’t forget that you can find fun stuff in our Sweetheart Shop!
