Custo Barcelona Fall 2011 via Nymag.com and Tomaselli’s “Big Eye” via the James Cohan Gallery.

Is Custo Barcelona BFFs with Fred Tomaselli? Because that’s what I asked myself after seeing the eccentric Custo creation above. I’m not sure how exactly I feel about the outfit, but I do like how it looks next to Tomaselli’s tableau.

What do you think of either the ensemble or the artwork?

That Tomaselli piece has been one of my favorites since Art History in college. Love it

Looks more influenced by Gustav Klimt’s paintings than anything else.
