Did you see Marc Jacobs‘ Fall 2011 collection walk the runway yesterday? I wasn’t there, but certainly felt like I was in the front row with my speakers blaring “The Beautiful People” in sync with the very #fashionforall live stream available on Jacobs’ site.
As a polka dot lover, to my delight, nearly each and every model was sporting my favorite pattern! From different textures, sizes, and hues, the spots from this collection will without a doubt leave a permanent mark on inspired wardrobes around the globe!

Of the above dot-infused looks, which do you think work the best? (I happen to think they’re all perfection!)

These are all so lovely! Marc Jacobs is brilliant!
I love them all, but special props to the suit with the sheer, poet sleeve blouse underneath. Something about Marc Jacobs’ aesthetic really speaks to me.
They are all super fun. I like the fourth look from left to right best. March Jacobs is truly amazing!
That man is just a genius. I love those little dotted hats :)
Oh, all these outfits are absolute genius! =D
I will be such a happy person if polka dots become huge again :D
My definite favs out of these are:
1. the third one to the right in the first picture. The bold combination of green and red is just fantastic.
2. The right outfit in the last picture. Love that wonderful blue hue and the cute flat cap.
The short-sleeved burgundy suit is my favorite. I’m not sure about the “pumpkin” hat with it, though. :) Thanks for sharing these lovely polka dots!
I got my wish! fitted skirts to just below the knee in fashion week! Lots of outfits that look very modern but 40′s inspired! I love it all!
Love love LOVE the one to the far right in the first row of pictures.
I also have a weak spot for polka dots, so completely fell head over heels for this collection! So many of these looks could be re-created in runway to reality fashion!
SWOOOOON! I absolutely adore the far-right outfit in the first set!
I <3 polka dots! 'Nough said! : )
I love that skirt suit/sheer blouse combination right after the jump! And those tights are amazing!
I am totally converted. Wow!
I loove this collection! <3
I didn’t think it was possible to go so ‘dotty’ but my favorite polka dot print patterns are from the 1930s and the Great Depression. Those were truly creative and very fun!
Yes! I love polka dots! The more the merrier (I am wearing a polka dot top as I type this)!
