Like any artist, ModCloth photographer Kristin says she’s “constantly inspired, especially by others who are doing wonderful things!” When asked to create an inspiration board highlighting her lifelong artistic influences, Kristin wanted to feature the many fabulous women (and one fabulous man, Mr. Andy Warhol) who have helped to cultivate her lifestyle aesthetic and art over the years.
“I chose strong, artistic women with a unique sense of style. I can’t help but be attracted to people who are like that,” says Kristin.

Joni Mitchell. Her lyrics are so beautiful and truthful (Come in From the Cold, Both Sides Now, California) . Nicole Krauss. Her writing is so simple, but in it’s simplicity and delicacy, is so powerful. I guess, I am inspired by people who are truthful in what they do, and who they are.
