Imagine if you asked me for directions and I pulled out a suitcase-sized paper map. You’d be all, “Huh?”

It’s all about the internet these days, and as a result, many a map of the land are headed to the landfill. Artist Matthew Cusick, though, is saving a lucky few paper maps from a dump doomsday by using them to create crafty, cool collages!

    Matt came to speak to my art history class a few years ago and he spoke about his technique and it is mind blowing! His work has only progressed and continued to become more and more beautiful.
