Maybe it’s because Paris Fashion Week remains fresh in my mind, or perhaps I’ve been watching too many Godard films, but for whatever reason, I can’t stop thinking about quintessential Parisian style. On days when I feel blasé about my wardrobe, I simply consult this old Lula editorial, the aptly titled “French Kisses.” Within minutes of gazing at this six-page spread by stylist Kusum Lynn and photographer Viki Forshee, I always find inspiration for a coy, undeniably sophisticated guise, with just the right amount of print and detail.
To be perfectly honest, this editorial kind of makes me want to book a spontaneous trip to the City of Lights. How about you?

I have yet to travel to Paris and France and am looking forward to the day I do! These looks are so timeless, classic, effortless, and chic.
I’ve always loved French style, so sophisticated yet effortless. I think I may love color a little too much to dress this way, so I settle for coffee and a croissant to fulfill my French desires.
i always enjoy a french style stripe shirt, it makes me think of the mimes in Montparnasse!
All these images have inspired my outfits for the week!
I’m leaving for my first trip to Paris in three days! Any advice on wardrobe essentials?
Oh that was a gorgeous editorial, beautiful pictures with a fresh retro feel to them. Those red gloves are so chic!

I love the vintage feel to the photos… also really digging the wide head-band… I’ll have to try that next time I’m playing with outfits!

You know the veiled looked would be easy to do even with short hair…snap on a fall with a heatherband, pin on some Russian veiling and you’ve got an instant fun, night time look.
