Where: Grandmother’s closet and secret thrift shop in the heart of Manila
How Much: The purse is of course free, and the blazer is just $2! Best steal ever.
When I Use It: “Whenever I want to take an otherwise boring outfit up one notch. I wear it whenever I want to feel preppy or girly. The bag and blazer add character to any ensemble because of their color and print.”
Shopping Tips: “Based on my own experience, I always find the best pieces of clothing in thrift/vintage shops. It’s just how you wear, mix, and match your clothes. When shopping, keep your eyes and mind open, always. Sometimes the best finds are just hidden on the last, untouched, dusty rack. It is also best to shop during sale periods. Yes, thrift shops do conduct end of the month sales, which is the perfect time to shop and hoard. This is also the time when you’re most likely to take home 20 pieces of clothing for $20!”
