When it comes to interior design from eras past, there are three things that appeal to me: wood paneling, fabric placed where it shouldn’t be, and the commitment it takes to display high wattage hues atop your countertops. In the spirit of summer vacation, sift through these vintage photos for a little taste of all three.

I’m so into 60′s & 70′s decor and fashion right now. This is magnificent, Laura.
I’m glad you enjoyed it! I think we may have to start a commune where we all live in old school motorhomes somewhere – oh, life goals. What do you say?
Love this post, Laura. These images remind me of the motorhome my grandparents had when I was a boy!
I LOVE collecting decorating books from the ’60s and ’70s! These pics are great – talk about traveling in style!
My goodness!! These images are simply dreamy :) I wish I could turn back time!

I always love how these RV’s (new and old) have that “captain’s pit” in the front for the driver and co-captain (usually the navigator). It always reminds me of a space ship from science fiction!
I love the green one! It sort of reminds me of my family’s old avocado fridge:)
This is awesome! I dream of owning a retro travel trailer (and thought maybe I was the only one), so this is fantastic. Great post!
