The standout editorial in Tatler’s August issue coyly asks readers, “Don’t You Know Who I Am?“ But here’s the catch — unlike most fashion spreads which have been blogged and reblogged to the point of exhaustion on Tumblr, this editorial, photographed by Robert Trachtenberg, lacks a Karlie, a Lara, a Freja, or a Miss Wixson. Instead, style icons Grace Kelly, Tina Turner, Madonna, Twiggy, and others superficially shine in fall’s most covetable collections, as styled by Anna Bromilow. The result is a fanciful set of photos rich with modern interpretations of vintage style, aka pure perfection.

So great to see an homage to these style queens. So many classic shapes, silhouettes, and colors are back this season & it’s nice to see respect given to the original trail-blazers who wore them.

Soooo cool! Love the twiggy one! :)
Oh, I love the Grace Kelly one! she was such a beautiful woman, and so elegant. I do wish they’d included Audrey Hepburn in this though… she is my ultimate style icon. I’m loving how vintage is becoming more mainstream!
Good point, Erin! I am really surprised they left out Audrey!
