Catherine Campbell's 'Tea-rific' Illustrations

Would you like to join me for some tea? Grab a cup of your preferred flavor, and I’ll show you the work of one of my new favorite illustrators, Catherine Campbell. She is a multitalented, multimedia artist whose work I found through a recommendation from a Facebook fan!

In contrast to the fine line quality of the tea cup and fashion figure, Campbell draws depth of interest into her pieces by adding paper-cut layers to the finished work. The result — multiple textures paired with stark illustrations that have me coming back for seconds, thirds, and…

Cheers to the fan on our Facebook community, without whom I wouldn’t have come across this awesome illustrator. Have you come across a favorite artist of the moment recently? Post a pic of one of your favorite pieces to our Facebook page!

About Julianne

Julie Since graduating from the "Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good and Wanna Learn to Do Other Stuff Good Too," Julie's aptness for the written word picked up steam like a runaway train. Her journey thus far has been fueled by an adventurous heart, creative mind, and love of breakfast, baking, and bacon. She often makes social situations more awkward than they need to be and loves the word "scrumtrulescent!"

These are really interesting. I think I stared at the last one for 30 seconds straight.

I love her work. I’ve had her Etsy shop favorited for quite a while.
I’m hoping to buy her “Waiting for the Tide” print for my new apartment.
