Meet Boo — a social media star, pint-sized fashion plate, and the subject of Boo: The Life of the World’s Cutest Dog. Following a day in cute, captioned photos, this hardback release makes it easy to understand how Boo’s Facebook page has fetched over 1.4 million friends!
We managed to get a minute with Boo and asked a few questions!
What’s it like, being the World’s Cutest Dog?
I don’t really think much about it, because I’m just “Boo” to my friends and family. The thing that is best about the attention is that I have made so many friends from all over the world, both dogs and people. I also like petting!
We love fashion and know you do too, so we have to ask — what’s your favorite accessory or outfit?
My most favorite thing to wear is my striped brown T-shirt [see video below]. It has white stripes and an orange embroidered fleur-de-lis. I like to wear it when I go for walks or even just around the house. I have some fancier clothes, but I feel really comfortable in that shirt. I think fashion should make you feel good and complement your personality.
If you could meet any dog, who would it be and why?
I would like to meet President Obama’s dog, Bo. I think he must get some great treats while living in the White House. And, I think it is funny that he is a big dog with only two letters in his name and I’m a little dog with three letters.
Obviously looks are key for a dog like you. What’s your morning routine like?
Because I like to burrow under the covers into a blanket burrito, I wake up slowly. My friend Buddy wakes up before me, but when I finally get out of bed, I do lots of stretching and a bit of yawning. Buddy and I run to the balcony to get a bit of fresh air, check out the weather, and wait for our breakfast. Once we eat, we like to play and run around the house a bit. My short haircut makes it pretty easy to get ready, but I do love a good brushing and belly rub to get the day started right.
Is there a story behind your name? Why ‘Boo’?
My human gave me the name. I’m not sure why except that I like to burrow deep under blankets and when she calls me, it takes a while for me to find my way out. She would always say, “Boo!” when I came out, and I guess it stuck. It also sounds funny when she calls us for dinner time, “Boo! Buddy!”
