We’ve hit the ground running here at New York Fashion Week and today we’re excited to share a few photos we snapped at the Steven Alan Spring 2012 presentation yesterday morning. The models sported pretty, vintage-inspired novelty prints, bright pops of color, and breezy denim topped off with simple straw hats and cute low wedges. With the gloomy weather here in New York, these fresh looks had us dreaming about beach vacations in 2012.

Well, we’re off to the next round of shows and events, so make sure to follow our Instagram for live coverage of Fashion Week and Fashion’s Night Out!

I loved this show! My favorite is the shorts and tank look with great hat (2nd picture from bottom). In fact, it’s even what I posted on my own blog!
Wowza, that textile print of guys playing sports is the best thing I’ve ever seen.
i really love the use of novelty prints. very cute!
This is disappointing. I go to school for fashion design, in NYC at FIT. If I tried to pass this off as a collection, even with the interesting usage of novelty prints – my professors would fail me in a heartbeat. There is absolutely nothing innovative or even particularly eye catching about this collection.
Well, there’s that cute male model in the first pic. He’s pretty eye-catching. :)
