Oh, where to start? With his distinguished name and fluffy visage, Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz never fails to make an impression. This playful Seal Point Himalayan is the feline friend of Designer Relations Assistant Kevan, who adopted Nimitz from a shelter.
Despite Nimitz’s looks, his owner says that he actually acts a lot like a dog. “He comes when called, loves dogs, and will go on walks with a leash,” says Kevan. “He also loves a nice, fuzzy ball to play with and a warm laptop to sleep on.” Other lovable quirks include an affinity for plastic bags, exploring everything from cabinets to dryers, and snoring loudly. Oh, Nimitz.

uh-oh… my senior-kitty has always loved plastic bags since she was a kitten-kitty, and on our last vet visit the doctor said she’s actually developed an allergic reaction to licking them (GWA!)
Thankfully he doesn’t really lick them, he just sits inside them looking like a fool!

He is so adorable! He looks like a gentleman and a scholar. I have a ragdoll that is similar size and face. Big cats are the best!
