Today’s Special: Dishes I Wish I Could Make

Tiny Mandragora Bento by Adventures in Bento Making, Cherry Ice Cream by Kirbie’s Cravings, and Bat Cake by I Am Baker.

I wish that I could make (and partake in the eating of!) the above culinary masterpieces. Today’s specials require patience, creativity, and in one case, an ice cream maker. While I don’t have the latter, I am inspired to utilize my patience and creativity to someday make wondrous edible art of my own. Whether it’s an idyllic ice cream treat or a conceptual bento scene, these fantastical foods will definitely make it on your wishlist.

Are there any recipes you wish you could make, but haven’t been able to yet?

    I am dying to learn how to pickle and preserve! After seeing jams used to make some killer-cocktails, pickled veggies used to give a salad a delicious crunch, and found out lemon preserves is my new favorite topping on everything – I am dying to try this out: http://tipnut.com/recipes-canning/
