Capes are gorgeous, but – vests. I need to be hands/armsfree if some spy sitch goes down. Spare material flapping around my arms would just in my way.

Have I ever seen anyone in real life wear a cape over the age of ten? No. Do I see people wear vests? All the time. Vests are infinitely more practical.
Capes! My arms want coverage when it’s chilly.
I have a little brown plaid capelet, and it’s cute, but I always have a hard time wearing it… it’s too short to provide any real warmth, so it has to be more like a part of my actual outfit and I have a hard time pulling it off! I think I would love a full cape though. But that leather+fur vest is totally rockin. Can I have both? =)
Still searching for that perfect cape! My issue with Modcloth coats is that the warmth level is far too low for a northern Ontario winter.We get weather down to negative 40 degrees, plus wind chill. Does Modcloth have any intentions of trying to get a hold of warmer coats?
