Late autumn, to me, is the ideal time of year for fashion, full of crisp weather, lovely scenery, and sun drenched afternoons — perfect weather for piling on layers and mixing textures. As I was flipping through the August/September 2011 issue of Bust, I came across this gorgeous spread photographed by Francis Turk-Hart and styled by Galadriel Masterson. I love the slightly ’70s-meets-classic New England styling — like Love Story mixed with Almost Famous — and the layered jackets, sweaters, and shawls are pure late season perfection.
