Something’s going on behind the scenes here at ModCloth, and we can no longer ‘bear-d’ to keep it a secret! In honor of Movember, our Chartiable Giving Committee rallied up a ruckus and found 15 male ModEmployees to participate in a facial hair-growing competition. Armed with clever nicknames and a ‘scuff’-and-tough attitude, these dudes are fearsomely facing facial hair in return for donations from their coworkers to men’s heath awareness and research groups.

Is this like No Shave November?? In my town, most male high school students grow out their facial hair to… well, I’m not particularly sure. But all the girls cheers them on. Some females participate in No Shave November, also, to protest feminine stereotypes about body hair.

PS, several men in my life are doing the Movember thing.
I work in a Residence Hall community at a university, and they are hosting a campus-wide Movember competition among the residents, taking pictures of their mustache progress each week!

Omg, my whole school is participating and even some girls too (legs lol). But the guy teachers are also having a competition and let me tell you that my Western Civ teacher is looking rather…castaway-ish lol. GOOD LUCK GUYS!
